Sadham D. Zarjahan Visits the British High Commission, Signs Condolence Book

Our Executive Director left for the British High Commission in Colombo on the 14th of September 2022 to convey the condolences of the International Youth Council on the demise of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Mr. Sadham D. Zarjahan shared his memories of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, with H. E. Sarah Hulton OBE, the British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, while he was working at the Commonwealth Youth Council and signed a book of condolences.

The International Youth Council joined the UK in observing the moment of silence on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 20:00 BST to “mourn and reflect on the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II.”
