Launch of The Girl Who Shared Books to Support Children’s Reading Culture

IYC Announces the Release of The Girl Who Shared Books

The International Youth Council (IYC) is pleased to announce the official release of
The Girl Who Shared Books, a children’s publication authored by
Ms. Gracelyn Burnett, Project Lead of Rowdy Readers.

This inspiring book aims to cultivate a love for reading among young learners and promote
equitable access to literacy, particularly for children who have limited opportunities
to engage with books. Through storytelling, the publication highlights the importance
of sharing knowledge and fostering curiosity from an early age.

The launch of The Girl Who Shared Books marks a significant milestone
for the Rowdy Readers initiative and reflects IYC’s continued commitment to supporting
youth-led projects that contribute to inclusive, community-driven development.
