IYC Executive Director participated at the World Muslim Communities Council's conference

To commemorate the organization's fourth anniversary, the World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) hosted an international conference on Islamic unity on May 8 and 9, 2022, under the guidance of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. The event took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). This international conference of the TWMCC, with the title "Islamic Unity: The Concept, Opportunities and Challenges," looked at the evolution of Islamic unity throughout history, its effects on all facets of life, its role in building human civilization, as well as the historical events that contributed to the decline in understanding of Islamic unity and the myths surrounding it.

The strategic goals of this programme was to facilitate to promote collaborative activities that can bring about beneficial change and to provide a platform for cultural exchange among Muslim communities.

The forum served as a platform to address the challenges faced by the global Muslim community and devising strategies to enhance their unity and collaboration. It facilitated the gathering of scholars, leaders, and representatives from diverse Muslim communities globally to deliberate on contemporary issues and develop initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall welfare of Muslims worldwide.

This initiative facilitated the exchange and application of knowledge and expertise across various global regions, with the primary goal of fostering stronger bonds within Muslim communities worldwide and equipping them with the essential resources to surmount potential challenges.

The engagement in dialogue and collaboration with stakeholders globally resulted in unparalleled opportunities for international cooperation among diverse Muslim communities, fostering knowledge sharing and empowerment within local communities.
