IYC Yemen has supported and established 9 DTCs and 45 ORCs in the 6 target districts in Sharab Ar Rawanh, Maqbanah, Al Wazya’ah, Jabal Habashy, Al Muka and At Ta'iziyah districts to respond to the risk of cholera outbreaks. Improve access of vulnerable people affected by cholera outbreaks to safe and clean drinking water, sanitation, hygiene promotion, also conducted awareness raising campaigns, and waste management campaigns to improve infection prevention and control at the community and housholds level and at DTCs/ DTUs in affected areas in Taizz governorate.
