
Taiz Emergency Medical Camp
Project Description
International Youth Council - Yemen doubled efforts to provide immediate solutions to the health crisis in Tiaz city. IYCY implemented a medical camp for two months (December and November 2015) in Taiz governorate targeting four districts (At Ta'iziyah, Maqbanah, Shara'b Ar Rawnah, Jabal Habashy) to provide primary health care services to IDPs and host communities reaching over 4,750 individuals involving 2,177 children, 998 men, 1,188 women, 1,235 boys and 1,330 girls. The project aimed to provide a package of life-saving emergency primary, maternal, reproductive health, child health and nutrition services to vulnerable households and internally displaced people mainly in areas with internally displaced populations.
